Went to Pulau Ubin yesterday with Cindy and Ken...brought DeeDee along as well....she was very excited...could see she really enjoyed the sea breeze...haha!Reached and went to Cindy's Granny's place....her Granny is the one running the famous temple there....Cindy brought us around the place she used to grow up...could see all that she really love the place from her eyes and expressions! I also loved the place as well except of the mosquitoes!! The ponds, the garden, the clean air...it was really refreshing....hope to go there again...
After the prayers at the temple, went to have my future read...well the advice to me this year is not to be too impatient...then I might have a small windfall....everything else is fine with me...asked about my mother and granny...mother and dad should be ok as pigs this year has the most luck...but granny...not so good....must learn how to take care of her health...eat more vegetarian.....anyway I prayed for her to be healthy and my parents to be well also....

Went to Pet Movers today...took my dear princess for grooming...the trim cost $40 and so to make the price worth, DC actually cut DeeDee's fur short...well I was reluctant but no choice cause we are too busy to comb her long coat of fur everyday. While DeeDee was at the groomers, we went to other pet farms to take a look...there was this cute husky we saw at the pet farm, one eye is gold and one is silver...best part was it was singing non-stop! Then there was miniature shit tzus for sale...we saw one really cute and wanted to get it but better not in case my dear princess gets jealous!Granny's cancer spread to her shoulders, her surgery will be on thursday...sigh...after that she needs chemo as well...really pray hard nothing happens to her.
Elf celebrated his birthday at WhyNot....everyone turned up in green as per Elf's request...had fun with the group...never saw them for a long time so kind of miss all of them...was a nice feeling to see everyone. At around 12am the Zzzz monster started to find me...was really trying hard to keep awake...Elf got drunk quite fast though and did not want to cut his birthday cake until his VIP came...sigh...
Anyway it's been a long time since I went clubbing and I must say I do not really miss it that much...maybe I am tired of clubbing already...to me now weekends are for me to rest and relax at home before the work week start....and if it's not Elf's birthday today, I would have stayed at home...well I guess age really caught up with me!

Recently found out that my grandma got breast cancer....well she did not tell her about the lump until it started to feel painful...My aunt brought her to the clinic to test and found out it is cancerous....anyway arranged for surgery...hope everything is going to turn out right.Before I could digest this news another big bomb followed (well like the chinese saying, bad things happens in pairs!) My aunt's maid ran away...she ran to the shelter at MOM...no one knows what exactly happened...My aunt's husband was at that point of time with her and he also disappeared....well to give him the benefit of the doubt, I think most probably he beat or scolded her...I don't think he actually tried to "touch" her....but, happen that my mum and dad are the guarantors and so need to appear in court to answer for her disappearence....so I guess they have to pay a hefty fine!
Life at home is already very messy and then work also another "battle area"....everything is like on the verge of pulling me apart...I am feeling real tired, worried and sick....sigh!! But still I have to carry on being happy and pretend nothing big actually happened...I mean no point in saying so much right? cause all the other rest can do is just say "it will be ok...." or "don't worry, everything will turn out fine...medical is very advance nowadays.." Well, I know friends meant well but actually how can I not worry? They are also my family memebers...if it happens to your family, would you just sit back and relax?
Anyway, I really hope to totally de-stress this weekend, try not to think about anything and then just laze and rest my soul and mind.

Past few days been a busy time for me....learning how to send documents to and from ICA, learning how to do alot of things that is handed over to me...been quite tired...
Guess everyone is under alot of stress recently...DC started to talk in her sleep and I start to have dreams about work...anyway recently Heyang and me got alot closer because of work...really enjoyed talking to her and also joking with her....at least in the office I can joke with her!
Cindy wrote emails to me from Tianjin..was really happy to receive her email...she asked me to send her the photos I took while they were here...told her I will send it to them once I am home...well got to find time to do that soon....
Anyway...Wednesday liao....time is kind of fast...half the week almost gone...this Saturday I am off again so good also la...can stay home and have a proper rest....

Saturday today and at last I was finally able to have my off day! Working at my new place was really busy and stressful...but still it was very fulfilling everyday!Next week I will be extremely busy because last minute Steven took a group of 15 students and 1 teacher coming from China for a 5 day tour in Singapore...When Steven told me the news last friday, I nearly fainted! Just packed off a group and now another one coming!! Best part on Wednesday I am suppose to go to Sentosa with them from 11am - 9pm! And on Thursday afternoon I and Heyang will bring them all for a city tour till 8.30pm...thinking of it already make me feel tired!
Went to Pet Movers today...there was this guy who has a border collie. The dog was really obedient but the owner...well he was really snobbish! His dog actually got into a small fight with a husky and later the guy actually confronted the husky's owner and told him off...an argument started! He started to tell the husky's owner to control his bloody animal and do not anyhow leave him to run around. He also went on to say his dog is a prized dog and is very precious! Well, every dog there is very precious I must say...the husky's owner might not be right not to control his dog but that does not mean the other guy can actually insult others!
Anyway, went to the mart and bought some can food and milk bones for DeeDee...she really love the milk bones! Later we spotted a collar that can put diamonte letterings on it...we bought a blue collar and bought 2 Big D's for my little princess...the collar cost us 24 dollars! But for my little princess...it's ok la!!
There was a competition later on...I signed DeeDee up for it...DC said that he will not go join it and if I sign up for it, I shall go for it myself with DeeDee...later I found out that balloons were involved! I am really scared of them... so no choice in the end DC took over my place! Haha! The competition was to let the owner and the dog run to the end of the field, find a balloon and blow it up to A4 size and tie it on your dog's collar or leash and run back. DeeDee was the only dog without a leash and I must say she ran the fastest! She saw the other dogs run and then she just follow suit...with DC far behind!!(Oops!) DC managed to blow up the balloon real fast (Thanks to the training at WhyNot!) and before DC can tie it on DeeDee, the balloon burst! Well anyway I am still very proud of my 2 Darlings! They did a GREAT job even though they did not win! DeeDee managed to get a small prize for participating! Well I am sure the next time, my Princess will win the 1st Prize!

Had a great day yesterday....Morning I went to work and then taught the 6 chinese gals for 1 hour lesson. It was fun being a relief teacher...I must say I felt a sense of accomplishment.
Although at work, there was this particular person whom is the public enemy no.1, otherwise everything is fine...she is always trying real hard to please the principal and everyone but, the way she does it, everyone could see that it is soooooo P L A S T I C!!
At night, went over to Furama for dinner. The food was okie...it has my favourite fresh oysters! Then some european guy made an annoucement and proposed to his long-time girlfriend! My God! It was so so romantic and sweet! Although I did not receive any flowers, I must say this Valentine's Day I am still very happy because I get to celebrate it with DC and also with the rest of my close friends! Thanks DC...I know the dinner is really off your budget but you still carried on having it with me! Really appreciate it!!
Well everything went on fine until this morning at 4am...Ms Public Enemy No.1 sms me to ask me to remember to bring some receipt...God! 4am! I was really pissed and sms to scold her! She apologised to me at 8am...saying she pressed the button wrongly! My...does she think I am some small kid with no brains or is she just PLAIN stupid?? Want to find excuse also cook up another better one la!! Duh!! Anyway, I cannot be bothered with her this morning when she apologised to me!I just do not want my day to be spoiled by someone like her!
Tonight will be the last night before the students leave for home tomorrow morning....will have a bbq dinner at Marina South...sure will miss these girls! Hope they really study hard and hope to see them come over to Singapore soon to study!

Went out with the students to Sentosa yesterday...The day was again freaking warm! Luckily I brought my sunglasses with me!First stop I brought them to the Merlion...I must say Sentosa did changed alot since the last time I came...took some pictures there and then proceeded to the Wax Museum...most of the things changed and it was a refreshing experience I must say! Came out of that and then had lunch. Cindy's son and friend brought the lunch for us and all had nasi lemak...
After that, went to the Carlsberg Sky Tower...seeing the view from 130M above sea level was really cool...after the ride we rested awhile before going to the Butterfly park and Insectorium....the butterflies were very pretty...I love the ones that are blue and transparent...somehow, I wish I was a butterfly, pretty and nice and carefree...sigh!!
After that we went to Cinemania to catch a 3D ride...most students enjoyed the ride except one cause she experienced it before in HongKong...well can't please everyone! Last but not least we went to the pink dolphin lagoon...the dolphins were really cute! Then we went to the Underwater world...same thing..nothing much of a difference from last time...Tried to catch the musical fountain show but we were too late...the place was full and so we went back to the hostel earlier....the girls were happy..I must say I did a good job 'babysitting' them! HAHA!
Went to Riverside Mall for Granny's birthday dinner....the Indonesian food was okie but the service was not so good...after dinner called DC to fetch me home...well tomorrow's monday already! My....the weekend does pass by so fast..how I wish it was longer....sigh!!

Today was the most tiring day since I started working....morning go into the office and then started to rush out whatever important documents....quickly go for lunh at 11.30am and then got ready to bring all the China students and teachers out.First stop...walked to Amoy Street and told them about the Tian Hock Temple. Next walked all the way to Chinatown...today's weather was so damn hot! Brought them to see the Mosque and Indian Temple...next went to the Singapore Chinese Heritage Centre and introduced them to the early days of Singapore migrants...I must say I can be a part-time tour guide!
After that we took MRT to the Esplanade...introduced them to this Durian Building and let them took pictures...by the time we finished, everyone was very tired...we rested for awhile before going to the Merlion and there they took lots of pics...my colleague and I ate ice-cream while they walked around there...from there we proceed to walk to the MRT station and go to Bugis....By then, all of them were really tired...can't blame them really...they were all not used to the weather...and today was extremely warm while in China it was snowing!
Went to Bugis and had dinner at the foodcourt...well after a whole day of walking, they were very tired and hungry.....anyway these 6 students were all rich kids and so they are real pampered...The older teacher (68yrs old mind you!) decided that they wanted to return to the hostel earlier! My...was Heyang(my colleague) and I happy to hear that! Arranged the transport to come pick them earlier and arranged for DC to come pick me...my ankles were all swollen and painful after walking the whole day and, I am really really very tired!
Although it was tiring, I must say it was kind of fun having to let these kids know abit of Singapore's culture and standards of living....well what DC said was true...although I am real busy at work but at least it was rewarding...ok..really bushed now so time to go to bed!

Well it's a week since I joined this new company and I must say, already I am feeling so busy and stressful!!There were always tons and tons of things that is waiting to be done....and not only that, tomorrow afternoon I got to do 'babysitting'! Yes....bring all them out and babysit them...and I do not even get paid for OT or anything like that!!
Well, has been complaining to DC about my job everyday and poor DC have to listen to me every night...haha!! Anyway, really appreciate it! Well, planning to go Bangkok in April and so now, that motivates me to work hard for the $$..this time round I make sure I shop for more goodies...especially for my naughty little princess and of course for MYSELF!!

Went to my granny's house yesterday for a family dinner. It was ren ri and so we had lou hei (raw fish). DeeDee was with me and everyone adores her...and being extremely friendly, she even managed to get an ang bao from my grandmother!Went to WhyNot after that. Saw the rest of the guys and was really happy to see them. Ben started to pour Chivas into my mouth. Jaron bought tequila shots and asked me to drink..after that he bought Bacardi 151 as well....by the time it ended, I was quite high! Still, after clubbing hours, Joel and the rest of the WhyNot staff stayed behind and gambled blackjack...imagine I was almost drunk and still can gamble! LOL!
Woke up in the afternoon and Dawn asked me to get ready so that we could meet up with the bosses and staff of WhyNot for high tea. Well it has quite a spread but because I drank too much last night, I was vomitting all my gastric juices out and was not feeling too well...so in the end I did not eat much at the high tea.
After high tea met up with Gary, Robin, Jaye and Noris at Parco Bugis. Went and walked around for awhile before proceeding to Bugis Village...got the presents I am suppose to buy for the China Students and Teachers..well at least I got them and would not have to go to mustaffa to get it later. Anyway walked around and then I saw this Hello Kitty digicam! It also has a videocam! It was so CUTE!! DC then asked the salesman alot of questions and bought the digicam for me as Valentine's Day present! I was SO SO SO HAPPY!!!! Thank you DC!! I really loved it!

It's my 2nd day at work...I must say it's stressful!!1st day already everyone tried to pass me all the things to do...well no choice, the admin gal before me leaving end this moth and doesn't come in often as her dad is very sick! The vice-principal left and the new lady is from China...she doesn't speak much english and is difficult to understand her...
Best part was that the principal, my Boss..involved me with the English camp next week. 6 China gals are coming here for an exchange programme and I am to babysit them as well! Got to accompany them to Sentosa next Saturday...and I have to help the teachers to prepare their scrap books as well...and the English teacher is from London, can't speak Mandarin...the Chinese teacher well, can't really communicate with her....so no choice I became their interpreter....
Suppose to be off this Saturday but no choice got to come back because My dear Vice-Principal wants me to come back tomorrow to 'learn' things...but the problem is.....there is no one around to teach me! Isn't asking me to come back a waster of time? But what to do...my boss said before..."Saturdays off is a Previlege, not an Entitlement!" sigh!!!!!!!
But one good thing here is that the colleages here are very very nice people....and of course due to the things I got to do, time passes by real fast....which is great sometimes!
Ok time to get back to work now...lunch time almost over and bosses coming back soon! ARgggggHhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Well I am back! It was like so fast when you are enjoying your holiday! Had a great time in Bangkok shopping and shopping! Bought lots of shoes! Haha! Was really happy...bought lots of pressies for DC and DeeDee! I shopped non-stop at Bangkok and nearly became a limp over there because I walked too much!Stayed at a very nice hotel called the Novotel! It was near to MBK and near to Siam Paragon. On the very first night we touched down, we had a very sumptous reunion dinner...then my mum and dad realised that they striked 4D! My Mum 2nd prize and my dad 3rd prize! Each person did not buy much though cause it was quick pick! Anyway, they were still very happy cause it was a lucky start for both of them!
After the dinner we went over to Siam Paragon to shop. All the shops were having 50-70% discounts cause they were having a midnight madness shopping spree! I bought a nice business shirt for myself and DC. All the branded shops are here and everything seems expensive even though it was having a sale!
Woke up early the next day to have breakfast! My! IT was international buffet breakfast and it was GOOD!There was scrambled eggs, lots of different types of bread, ham, bacon, waffles, mini pan-cakes, different type of cereals, sushi, porridge, friend rice, noodles, fruits, yougurt, different types of juices and milk to name a few! Had a heavy breakfast cause later went over to Chatuchak Weekend market to shop! MY Favourite! Went there and bought lots of stuffs! Bags, Shoes, Clothes and etc..The puppies sold at the market was so so cute and cheap too! It was like less than 100 dollars in sing and you could get 1! How I wished I could bring one home!!And the doggy clothes and stuffs! It was really cheap and there were so much! How I wished I could buy all the things for my precious DeeDee!
After shopping for 6 long hours went back to the hotel...my legs were already on the verge of breaking and shaking! Never walked that much in my life! But was happy with my shopping! My sis continued with my aunts to walk MBK...I could not take it anymore so I gave it a miss...went back to the hotel and rested! Tired la! After that met up with them at MBK to have tepanyaki for dinner. Although it was cheap but the food was not really nice...continued to shop at MBK and bought lots of food stuffs there! After that went back to hotel to rest cause it was really late!
The next day my dad and aunt went to play golf. The rest of us had breakfast and then went over to MBK to continue our shopping...bought another big bag so that I could keep all the stuffs as my the other bag was full! Emma's friend in Thailand met up with us...She is a pretty gal I must say! Saw alot of manicure stations and did my manicure! Was rally satisfied with it!! Went back to the hotel in the evening and wanted to go to Chinatown but no taxi wanted to bring us there as there was a heavy traffic jam! Sigh! So no choice we had thai food for dinner near the hotel and shopped around there....bought some sandals...hmm...DC gonna kill me soon for buying so many things! HaHa! Then my parents and their friends were tired so they went back to the hotel...My uncle, aunt, sis and me continued to shop...we went to Suan Lum (pronounced as soon loom) night bazzar to shop. It was like Chatuchak market except it was much organised and cleaner...but the things sold here were very much more expensive! It was almost 3 times more! So we were careful with what we bought and tried to bargain! Left the place at 1am...by then all of us were really tired! Anyway got to go back to hotel and pack as it was time to return to Singapore!
Woke up early the next day to have breakfast and then went back to the room to pack the last bit of things! After that realised I got 2 hand-carry bags and 1 big bag for check-in! My! Did I really buy that much?? Hmm...it's okie cause at least I am happy! Waited for the airport transfer to pick us up to the airport and on the way there was a jam...lucky we managed to get to the airport on time and checked-in....well I missed Dc and DeeDee alot and hope to really get hom fast to them!
Reached airport around 7.30pm...bought liquor and beer and a present for DC...it was for Valentine's Day! And for that present I used my red packet money my parents gave me! Got the things and saw Jen and DC waiting for me at the airport...Was really happy to see them! Got the bags into the car and saw my precious princess DeeDee! Was so so happy to see her as well! Went straight to Jaye's house and had some dinner and gambling session there...won 10 bucks! Anyway was really tired and so went back home around 12plus to sleep....
