The Weird, Ugly and Funny
Eversince working at this new job, taking the public transport is a must for me...one thing for sure when I take the public transport, I love to observe the rest of the people standing around me. Strangers they are to me but they do provide me with a certain level of entertainment...Say for example I was taking the East-West Line back to Boon Lay one day. When the train stopped at Raffles Place, there was this young lady and young man who rushed into the train..soon the guy was calling the police, saying that there was this lady threatening him...suddenly the whole train went quiet...(By the way it was off work timing so you can imagine how packed it was!!) then the lady standing beside him snatched the phone over and told the police to wait at Jurong East MRT, citing that this guy actually took pictures underneath her skirt...after the girl hung up, she started scolding the guy....saying that he is such a pervert, and she is not afraid of him and so on....well the cut the story short, the commotion ended when they both alighted at Jurong East...now I was wondering...if the lady was so sure that the guy did that, shouldn't she immediately reported him at Raffles Place and get the officers at the station to help her? Why follow the guy and arrange police to go to Jurong East? Just so weird...Another time was when both me and DC was taking the NEL back home....was talking to one another until DC noticed something...well infront of her was this old man...he was maybe in his early 50s. Dressed quite ok (like any old man la)....with HP in his hand....as we looked at him, he was ok until we looked at his belt area....beneath the tee, we saw a blinking blue light...wow! At first I thought it may be his HP but it does not look like it...And the more we look at it, we find it amusing..trying hard not to laugh out loud...pretty amazing isn't it?The last I would say it's a pretty sad case..was on my way home as usual and took the train. After that I noticed a young lady sitting opposite me. Quite a pretty and fair lady...pregnant as well...I would say about 6-7months. Then she start to do a very weird thing...she start to peel her lips...and she could not stop...soon her lips were all swollen and bleeding (Say..if you want lips like Angelina Jolie, maybe you can try her method!!!), can you imagine how gross that was?? When she noticed people staring at her, she immediately stop to smile and pretend to touch her hair, the back of her ears and smell the back of her hand before she start to peel her lips again...this routine was throughout the whole journey till she alighted...As I looked at her, I felt she is very pitiful...seems like she has a serious mental problem....Well, these are the few incidents that left a deep impression...so the next time you sit at a cafe or take public transport, why don't you observe the people around you...who knows you will find things more weird then what I noticed!!

Updates
Been a long time since I updated. Found a new job and even though it does not pay much, but I really enjoy the environment. My colleagues and boss are also nice so it isn't that bad...and they have quite good benefits for the staff as well..just hope that everything will go on smoothly. Thanks for all my friends who helped me in one way or another. Really glad to have you all around..been taking piano lessons from Jaron as well. Thanks for teaching us playing the piano...really appreciate...
