Ok for all those who does not know, I have managed to increase the number of pets in my house...yes all thanks to unforseen circumstances, I have now 6 hamsters, 2 turtles, 2 lobsters, 1 sucker fish and 3 dogs...how's that for a mini zoo?
Luckily for me, D.C did not make much complains. She in fact wanted to add more animals to my collection! But I do not think I can really handle that much anymore.
Talking about pets, guess I am really an animal lover...thanks to my family who loves animals, I literally grew up with lots of pets in the house...remember my granny used to rear 12 chihuahuas and some cats while my parents used to rear dogs, fishes, hamsters, birds, turtles. For that, I must thank my family for they have thought me to love all sorts of animals and in return learn responsibility. Yes, having a pet is a commitment and a responsibility. If you cannot afford the time, please do not rear any animals cause you will only make them suffer. Best part, you might just abandon them...that is definately a NO NO!!
And I always tell my friends, people who love animals are people who can't be all that bad as they are still kind at heart...but for those who ill-treat animals, these people can go to hell! Recently read a report that an Artist wants to starve a dog so that he can draw the thin scrawny thing for ART!! Why don't he just starve himself then? This person just ought to be shot!!
Anyway hereby I wish to appeal for more people to donate to the SPCA and also to any pet shelters. These places are non-profitable organisations and they seriously need alot of donations to keep those unwanted and abused pets there. So if you can, try go to see these pet shelters and you can see all the poor and unwanted animals waiting to be adopted or at least get medical help. So next time before you want to get an animal, think twice!!

It's been awhile since I went out and have a gathering with the group. Well maybe age is catching up with me, after work is usually dinner with DC then home sweet home.
Had a nice gathering last week. Was Alvin's birthday and so headed to St. James for some celebration. Long long time I have stopped clubbing and drinking...and best part is that was the 1st time I stepped into Powerhouse...well it was quite cool and managed to see some familiar faces..like I mentioned, maybe age has caught up, last time I would be busy entertaining and drinking...but last week, I just talked to some friends and then stayed in one corner having a single Chivas coke the whole night..vast difference if you know me now and then...
Changed my job to work in a law firm. Guess it was time for me to move on from the petshop. Although I enjoyed the work at the pet shop, it was not the place for me to stay forever. Now can meet some of my friends for dinner after work as some work around my area...and best part, I get my WEEKENDS off...haha! Still considering whether to go Genting with the group or not..been a long time since the last holiday with them was to Bangkok 1 year ago...anyone wants to volunteer to take care of all my babies so I can go for a short holiday????
