Feeling Good
Today was in a pretty good mood...maybe because I know I am going home soon...just the thought of it makes me feel good....the weather is also very nice today....sunny and bright, not too cold...air also very fresh! Was busy at work today...doing up all the accounting and stuffs...sometimes its great to be busy...at least time pass by easily...then after lunch the angmos really know how to put up a nice show...why? Cause our director from HK arrived today..hence last minute do all the packing and doing up all the logos and stuff....I really find it amusing...what's the point of doing everything so nice when in actual fact everything is in a BIG MESS?? Anyway there is this irritating guy whom we nickname "Elephant"(cause he walks around loudly, laugh loudly and very plastic, talks loudly and also is very rough with the office equipment!) came to our little "dungeon" and said that the GM (actually is Director!) is coming and ask us to pack the place and not leave any piece of paper lying around...I told him one thing...there we are dealing with drawings and i have packed the place already...there is no way that we do not have a piece of paper around...if that is the case, that shows we are not working! He listen already, immediately laugh (the sickening plastic laugh!) and started to talk to the other fellow austrians in German...well I do not care..you like it or not but that's the truth!!Ok...enough of my complains...other than that, the day went by quite nicely....really can't wait to go home and meet my darlings, friends and family!! HeeHee!!

When Love Dies
I was going through some old entries of D.C's blog and came across this quote which I found meaningful :Love never dies a natural death.
It dies because we do not know how to replenish its source.
It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals.
It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of withering, of tarnishing.
- Anais Nin -How many of us actually go and replenish the sources to stop love from dying? And when we do so, does love actually revives? I always believe love is a two-way thing...it will not work if one party is no longer interested or contribute to it.Going through that blog actually brought back lots of memories for me...from the time we met, till the time we are together till the time I went overseas to work....everything is still so fresh in my mind...anyway time flew past, feelings changed, humans changed...so much happened within a short period of time. Anyway after going through all the entries, emotions and feelings flooded...happiness, anger and sadness....Well I missed home terribly today....do not know why but just very extreme for today...anyway on the up side, I am going home soon...another 22 more days...yippeee!!!

EQ Test.
| Your EQ is 113 |
50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick! 51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese. 71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely.91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that. 111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt. 131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin. 150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar. |

Closure of Sphere
Well today is the last day of Sphere. Sad to hear it close down. Anyway this place really hold alot of memories for me.I got to know Terry from this place as he is the boss...after that he introduced me to all the whole gang. This place is like my second home for awhile. Use to go there and meet up with the gang to talk, to play mahjong. There was even a time me and D.C stayed there every night and made it our home before we shifted! Anyway Adios Sphere...you did gave me lots and lots of nice things to think about. Without you, I would not have known so many good friends and buddies!Went shopping with Ginny yesterday. Bought lots of nice clothes that I could wear for work. I spent 200 plus Singapore dollars buying 10 pieces of tops plus socks and underwear. Here in Europe caneasily buy clothes for myself as there are plus sizes...never in my life so shiok liao...buy so much clothes..Haha!After that met up with the rest and went to walk around before we had dinner. Dinner was really good. Had a very nice steak. After that went to the seashell in the middle of the river to have a drink. My colleagues then decide to go clubbing so we went. Must say this is the first time since I was working in Austria. The first club we went to was not very happening. Hence after half hour, we went back to our office and called the IT guy. He is a very crazy and nice man. Took us to some pub to have some champange and met his wonderful wife. After that he brought us to a Disco. It was happening there. Nice music, big disco with lots of people...great to unwind after a long time. And because its was a long time I last drank so much, I got tipsy quite quick. But alas, it was good fun...reminded me of the times I was at WN drinking with the gang...boy do I really miss home!Anyway I might go back to HK if Austria does not need me. Things are not confirmed and so we shall see how it goes. Gary just informed me he wants to plan his birthday in Bangkok. Ask me to take leave and then go there with D.C in October. Thank leh...I have to work lo...there are no such things as taking leave to go holiday in this company. Really wish to go but no choice. Well that is life I guess. You cannot have your pie and eat it. There are always compromises and sacrifices that you have to make at times!

Vienna Trip
Went to Vienna last Friday. The trip was very fulfilling and got chance I sure will go back there again. Anyway I have not gotten the photos yet. Once have I will post it up.
Vienna is the capital city of Austria and it is the city of Music and Arts. Mozart was born in Vienna and also started playing music in this city. Hence most of the shops sells lots of souveniors with Mozart's face on it!
We rented a car and drove to Vienna. There were 4 of us...Laxe, Ginny, Marco and me. After a 2.5 hour drive, we reached Vienna. First feeling, very beautiful city and COLD! Yes the winds are strong and luckily I wore my down jacket or I will freeze to death! First stop we went to a chinese resturant. This restuarant sells local dishes...imagine our faces when we see asam laksa, green curry, tom-yum soup on the menu! Well the boss is from Penang and we felt really at home except for poor Marco because he is Italian.
Next we went to a food street. There were alot of shops selling lots of chinese food that can be found in Singapore although, the prices are double. Anyway we got some nice vegetables and also salted eggs (they cost SGD2). But we manage to get some preserved fruits which are very nice. At the market, we manage to meet a Singaporean Gay couple. They were happy to see us and chat with us awhile. Well, it feels great to see people from your country! Anyway it is really romantic to come all the way here for a holiday! At that moment how I wished D.C was here with me as well!! After that we went to some museums and a library. Soon it started raining, so we seek refuge at a nearby cafe. Here the buildings are very beautiful. They are very magnificent with all the statues and very well-kept. The cafes are very nice also, selling very nice coffee and cakes. It is really nice to be able to sit in a nice cafe, sip coffee or tea and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
After that we went to the shopping street. Here you can find lots and lots of different shops. We walked and shopped. I manage to get a nice pair of carmo pumps. Yes I know I have lots of shoes but they are my passion and I really love this pair of shoes. Shops closes at 6pm and so after that we continue to walk to sightsee. Along the street you can see alot of people busking. Either they dance, sing or play some instruments. It is really very wonderful! We went to Vienna's tallest Cathedral. It was really beautiful with all the paintings and statues. At that time we went in, they were having an evening church service. At that moment I felt very peaceful.
Later in the evening, we went to get dinner. It was an Italian restaurant and I had pasta. It was very nice...but before the dinner, we stop by a small stall and had very good cheese sausages. Well, sausages are the most famous in Austria...so if you come over, you must try!! After dinner, it was already 10pm...it was really late so we drove and check into our rooms at the youth hostel. The youth hostel is very nice and clean and cheap. One night stay is 20euros per person per night inclusive of breakfast. It was a nice decent room with a double-deck bed. It also has an attached bathroom but no toilet! For toilet you have to use the common one...Haha! And you have to put your own bedsheets, quilt cover and pillow case (provided by them). Anyway after a hot nice bath, was really tired and went to zzzland.
Woke up late in the morning and so no more breakfast for us. Here you have to check out by 9.30am or they will charge you extra money. So you can imagine 4 very sleepy faces pulling out all the bedsheets and stuff (yes you have to return all the bedsheets and covers!) and packing out of the rooms at9.15am. Went to get breakfast at a nearby railway station before we head to the palace. Yes we went to the royal palace of Vienna. The place is really huge with lots of rooms but compared to the Forbidden City In China, I feel that this is still small. Anyway the last queen is Elizabeth nickname SiSi. She is considered the most beautiful woman of her time and was adored by alot of people. Hence now, there are alot of plays about her. But the sad part of this royal family is that most of them either died of dieseases young, was assisinated or commited suicide. Hence the end of the royal line...well maybe being royal is not so good after all.
After the tour, we went to get some lunch at a restuarant. Here they serve authentic German food. I had a beef goulash and it was really good! After the hearty meal, we continued walking and went into a casino. Stayed there and played roulette. Well I lost 50 euros after spending almost 3hours there. Ginny had better luck and won 80euros...anyway it was real fun! Anyway it was late and so we drove back to Graz to return the car.
Well this trip was really an eye-opener for me. First time I can see and experience all the beautiful sceneries of Europe instead of just seeing it on TV. Got chance, I would love to come back here for a holiday with D.C.!!

New Colleague
Ok today officially got a new colleague in the office. He is Marco and is an Italian. Right now, he is putting up with us in the office. It feels quite weird to have a stranger living in the apartment. Well, I guess you just need time to get use to it.
Today is my cousin Lilian's birthday and so I sms her a birthday wish. Asked her about granny and realise her condition does not look too good. She told me that she is not eating well and complaining about the pain. Not only that, her chest xrays found a dark patch in her lungs. Doctor advise her to go for a scope but she refused cause she is scared of the pain. I can understand that situation but no matter what, she has to go for the scope to find out whether is it a lung infection or her cancer cells has spreaded. In fact, my parents and all gave the doctor the go ahead to do the scope without letting her know. Right now, I feel so bad for not being there for her. Just wished that I could go home right now man. Sigh!! Hope that the test results are not going to be too bad. I will pray hard she gets well soon!
